PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF ELECTION ON TAX LEVY IN EXCESS OF THE TEN MILL LIMITATION R.C. 3501.11(G), 5705.19, 5705.25 Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of Council of Village of Blanchester of Clinton County, Ohio, passed on the 12th day of January 2026, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the Primary/Special Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 5th day of May 2026 the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, for the benefit of Village of Blanchester for the purpose of parks and recreation. Tax being a renewal of a tax of 3 mills at a rate not exceeding 3 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $52 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in 2027. The estimated annual collections of this levy are $175,635. The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on election day.
