LEGAL NOTICE The Clinton County Board of Commissioners invites firms to submit their proposals to perform janitorial services for county buildings located in Wilmington, Ohio. Sealed bids (5 copies) must be received no later than 9:30am September 10, 2025, at the Board Office located at 1850 Davids Drive, Suite 208, Wilmington OH 45177. Bids will be publicly opened at 9:30am the same day at the same location. Interested parties must either pick up a copy of Bid Specifications from the Board of Commissioners Office at 1850 Davids Drive, Suite 208, Wilmington Ohio between 7:30am and 4pm Monday – Friday (closed on September 1, 2025) OR may call 937.382.2013 to request a packet be mailed or emailed. POTENTIAL BIDDERS WHO PROVIDE CONTACT INFORMATION WILL BE NOTIFIED OF ANY CHANGES OR UPDATES AND WILL BE INCLUDED IN ANSWERS TO ANY QUESTIONS. Bids must provide a copy of BWC certificate, Insurance Certificate, non-collusion affidavit. The county will host a mandatory walk-through of buildings beginning promptly at 9am on Thursday, August 21, 2025, beginning at the lobby of the Administration Building located at 1850 Davids Drive, Wilmington Ohio 45177. IT IS REQUIRED THAT ALL VENDORS WHO ARE SUBMITTING A BID ATTEND THIS WALK THROUGH. BIDS RECEIVED FROM VENDORS NOT ATTENDING WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Buildings to be cleaned daily are as follows: JFS 40,357 sf, Courthouse 43,660 sf; Annex 29,434 sf; Prosecutor 7,625 sf; Veterans 5,508 sf; Sheriff’s Office 10,000 sf; Administrative Campus 40,000 sf. SF is approximate. Contract will include daily cleaning of offices and common areas, daily sanitation of high touch areas, restrooms, in addition to weekly and other periodic duties including ordering paper and cleaning supplies. Staff assigned to county offices must pass criminal background checks. Business must be insured for no less than $1m per occurrence in liability and property damage. Questions may be submitted to Commission@clintoncountyohio.us no later than August 27 at 4pm. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities and to award to the lowest and best bidder. The Board anticipates awarding a 3-year contract.
