PUBLIC NOTICE PROCLAMATION NOTICE OF PRIMARY ELECTION on TUESDAY, MAY 5, 2026 R.C. 3501.03 The polls for the election will open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. of said day. The Board of Elections of Clinton County, Ohio, issues this Proclamation and Notice of Election . A Primary Election will be held on Tuesday , the 5th day of May 2026 at the usual place of holding elections in each and every precinct throughout the County or at such places as the Board may designate, for the purpose of choosing the following offices: All Offices U.S. Senate (Unexpired Term), Governor/Lt. Congress - 1st District, Member of State Central Committee Republican - Man - 10th District, Member of State Central Committee Republican - Woman - 10th District, Member of State Central Committee Democrat - Man - 10th District, Member of State Central Committee Democrat - Woman - 10th District, State Representative-71st District, Judge of the Court of Appeals 12th District FTC 01/01/2027, Judge of the Court of Appeals 12th District FTC 02/09/2027, Democratic Central Committee- All Precincts, Republican Central Committee - All Precincts; Libertarian Central Committee – 05 Wilmington 3A And determining the following Questions and Issues: All Issues District, Overlaps Issue Description Village of Blanchester Renewal property tax levy for the purpose of parks and recreation. 3 mills for 5 years. Commencing 2026; First Due 2027 Village of Harveysburg Additional property tax levy for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repair of streets, roads, and bridges. 3 mills for 5 years. Commencing 2026; First Due 2027 Wayne Township Renewal property tax levy for the purpose of maintaining and operating cemeteries. 1 mill for 5 years. Commencing 2026; First Due 2027 East Clinton Local Additional income tax levy on earned School District income of individuals residing in the school district for the purpose of current expenses. 1.25% for a continuing period of time.
