RENOVATIONS FOR EAST CLINTON BOARD OFFICES PROJECT NO. A25-168 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS East Clinton Local School District, 97 Astro Way, Sabina, Ohio 45169, will accept sealed BIDS for “Renovation for East Clinton Board Offices” located at 57 Cox Road, Sabina, Ohio 45169. These BIDS will be received at East Clinton Local School District Board of Education Central Office, 97 Astro Way, Sabina, Ohio 45169, until 1:00 p.m. local time, Friday, December 19, 2025, and read publicly at 1:30 p.m. at the project site located at 57 Cox Road, Sabina, Ohio 45169. The WORK entails the renovation of an existing former church building for use as the new Board of Education Offices. One bid will be received for all work as described in the Contract Documents, including: General Trades, Electrical, HVA/C – Mechanical, and Plumbing. Subject to the right of the OWNER to reject any and all bids and as provided below. The OWNER will award a single contract for all work in this project. Bidders must furnish all information requested on or accompanying the bid proposal. Failure to do so may result in disqualification of the bid. Each BID must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside as "BID FOR RENOVATION FOR EAST CLINTON BOARD OFFICES, 57 Cox Road, Sabina, Ohio 45169." Copies of the Contract Documents consisting of the plans and specifications and items of work, the proposal and contract forms may be obtained at the office of the ARCHITECT/ENGINEER, McCarty Associates, LLC, 213 North High Street, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133, Phone: (937) 393-9971. Documents may be obtained electronically or in paper format. To obtain documents electronically, interested parties must be placed on the Plan Holder’s List by completing a Plan Holder’s List Application as provided by the Architect. For paper copies of the bidding documents, interested parties must complete the Plan Holder’s List Application and pay a nonrefundable charge of $100.00 plus $20.00 shipping & handling for each set so requested. Each proposal shall be signed by the full name and business address of each person or company interested in bidding, and shall be accompanied by a surety bond by a bonding company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio, or by a certified check, cashier’s check or letter of credit from a solvent bank, all in accordance with ORC 153.571. The bid guaranty bond shall be for the full amount of the bid and the certified check, cashier’s check, or letter of credit shall be equal to a minimum of ten percent (10%) of the submitted proposal and made payable to East Clinton Local School District. Proposals accompanied by certified check, cashier’s check, or letter of credit will require a subsequent contract performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. All provisions of the Ohio Revised Code, as it relates to bid guarantees, conditions, liabilities, and withdrawal of a bid are pertinent to this contract. The proposal must be made on the forms provided therefore in the contract documents, or a copy thereof, with a price quoted for the work.
