NOTICE OF ELECTION ON TAX LEVY IN EXCESS OF THE TEN MILL LIMITATION R.C. 3501.11(G), 5705.19, 5705.25 Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Trustees of Washington Township of Clinton County, Ohio, passed on the 29th day of July 2025, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 4th day of November 2025 the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, for the benefit of Washington Township for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repair of streets, roads, and bridges. Tax being a renewal of a tax of 1.5 mills at a rate not exceeding 1.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $15 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's appraised value, for 5 years. The estimated annual collections of this levy is $38,352. The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on election day.
