PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF ELECTION ON TAX LEVY IN EXCESS OF THE TEN MILL LIMITATION R.C. 3501.11(G), 5705.19, 5705.25 Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Commissioner of Clinton County, Ohio, passed on the 10th day of July 2026, there will be submitted to a vote of the people of Clinton County at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 3rd day of November 2026 the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, which shall be a renewal of a tax of 0.50 mills for the benefit of Clinton County for the purpose of providing sufficient funds to carry out health programs, including but not limited to child and senior citizen services, control of communicable diseases, environmental health, health education, bioterrorism response, and AIDS education by the Clinton County Combined Health District at a rate not exceeding 0.50 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $9 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years. The estimated annual collection of this levy is $458,176. The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on election day.
