PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF ELECTION ON TAX LEVY IN EXCESS OF THE TEN MILL LIMITATION R.C. 3501.11(G), 5705.19, 5705.25 Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Blanchester-Marion Township Joint Fire District in Clinton County, Ohio, passed on the 8th day of June 2026, there will be submitted to a vote of the people of the Village of Blanchester and Marion Township at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 3rd day of November 2026 the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, which shall be a renewal of a tax of 3.55 mills for the benefit of Blanchester-Marion Township Joint Fire District for the purpose of providing fire protection, ambulance, paramedic, or other emergency medical services at a rate not exceeding 3.55 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $55 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years. The estimated annual collection of this levy is $308,493. The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on election day.
