PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF ELECTION ON TAX LEVY IN EXCESS OF THE TEN MILL LIMITATION R.C. 3501.11(G), 5705.19, 5705.25 Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of Trustees of Wayne Township of Clinton County, Ohio, passed on the 31st day of January 2026, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the Primary/Special Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 5th day of May 2026 the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, for the benefit of Wayne Township Trustees for the purpose of maintaining and operating cemeteries. Tax being a renewal of a tax of 1 mill at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $19 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in 2027. The estimated annual collections of this levy is $21,217. The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on election day.
